OOTN - Grey lace and pink accessories

I husker måske at jeg købte den fine blå blondekjole fra Dorothy Perkins i foråret og ikke længere efter modtagelsen, måtte jeg også have den grå ;-) Jeg har faktisk haft den blå på ved et par lejligheder (desværre udokumenterede!) men den grå havde jeg gemt til jeg havde de helt rigtige accessories. Ja, man er vel perfektionist!

Skoene var på plads, men jeg manglede den perfekte clutch til. Jeg har ledt nær og fjern, men den perfekte pink clutch dukkede bare ikke op. Hvad gør man? Man beder sin mor om råd! Og sørme om hun ikke laver den fineste neon-pink clutch til mig! Af gavepapir. Tak mor <3

Så fredag aften var jeg klar, i det outfit, som blev lige som jeg havde forestillet mig det :-)

You might remember that I bought the beautiful navy lace dress from Dororthy Perkins in the spring and not long after the grey also followed ;-) I have actualkly worn the blue one at a cuople of occasions (unfortunately un-documented!) but the grey I had saved until I had just the right accessories. I guess I am a perfectionist!

The shoes had been chosen, but I was missing the perfect clutch to go with them. I have searched high and low, but the perfect pink clutch did not show up. What to do? I ran to my mom! And her solution: she made me the prettiest neon pink clutch! From wrapping paper. Thanks mom <3

And so Friday night, I was ready to a night out in the outfit that turned out exactly as I had envisioned it :-)

Jeg synes kombinationen af grå og pink er så fin og det er klart accessories'ne der skaber dette outfit. Kjolen i sig selv er jo fin og jeg kan sagtens forestille mig at style den til efteråret med sorte strømper, sorte sko, en sort blazer og en ballerina bun, så looket bliver en smule mere stramt og "business". Det er for mig det der er så fantastisk ved accessories, hvordan man virkelig kan forvandle et outfit.

I think the combination of grey and pink is so pretty and it is really the accessories that makes this outfit. The dress in itself is nice and I could easily see my self styling it with black tights, black shoes, black blazer and a ballerina bun, so the look will be a little more stricht and business. That is for me what is so great about accessories, they can really turn an outfit from one thing to a completely other look.

Sneak peak - Accessories

Jeg havde mistet mit kamerakabel her i sidste weekend, så jeg har ikke kunne overføre billeder til computeren, men nu dukkede det op (hos min søster) og så kan jeg endelig vise jer nogle af den sidste uges outfits! Her kommer lige et lille sneak peak af nogle af de accessories jeg har haft på til mine outfits. Ofte er det virkelig tilbehøret (og skoene!) der rykker et oufit fra lidt kedeligt til fantastisk.

I have been with out the cable to my camera the past week or so, so I have not been able to get the pictures on to the computer, but it has resurfaced (at my sisters) og I can finally show you some of the last week's outfits! Her is a little sneak peak of some of the accessories I have worn with my outfits. Often it is really the accessories (and the shoes!) that moves an oufit from drap to fab.

Summer rock chick

Det bliver desværre ikke til så mange dagens i øjeblikket, arbejdet tager virkelig på kræfterne.
I dag har jeg siddet og drømt om alle de lækre outfits jeg godt gad have. Herunder ét af dem. Hvad tager en rock chick på om sommeren, når helt sort ikke er helt så fedt som om vinteren? Her er mit forslag.

I am sorry for the lack of outfit posts lately, my work is really taking its toll on me. Today I have been dreaming of all the great outfits I really want to own. Below one of them. What does a rock chick wear in the summer, when all black is not as cool as in the winter? Here is my suggestion. 

Studded denim jacket - 17 Sundays // Black leopard sequins top - Dorothy Perkins // Faded Leopard skinny jeans - Asos Curve // Pink and silver bangles - Asos // Pink Lorissa stillettos - Sam Edelman

Jeg synes det er sjovt at mikse forskellige konturer over det samme tema. F.eks. Det falmede leopard print på jeans'ne med de pailetmønsteret på toppen. Og Nitterne på skoene med nitterne på jakken. Jeg synes at sådanne små detaljer er med til at binde et outfit sammen. 

I like to mix different textures in the same theme. For instance the faded leopard print on the jeans with the sequin pattern on the top. And the studs on the shoes with the studs on the jacket. I think little details like that really pulls an outfit together.

New in - Pink wonders

Så er jeg endelig hjemme fra Spanien. Det var jo ikke ferie, men super hårdt arbejde og ikke så meget søvn eller fritid. Jeg fik slet ikke tid til at tage billeder af mine outfits, så dem må I have til gode :-)

Jeg nåede dog en enkelt lille shoppetur og den blev til Las Rozas Village lidt udenfor Madrid. Las Rozas Village er en outlet "by" med forskellige brands. Disse "byer" finder man flere steder i Europa, bla. i nærheden af Barcelona og London. De havde mange fine ting, men jeg endte "bare" med at købe sko. Typisk mig ;-)

Dem af jer der har fulgt bloggen længe ved at jeg har en svaghed for Sam Edelmans fine sko. Jeg ejer et par af hans ballerinaer allerede, men har jo længe sukket efter et par af dem med sten og nitter på hælen. Og sørme om ikke lige jeg faldt over de smukkeste "Lorissa" i min størrelse til en god pris... De er SÅ meget mig. Girly og rå...

I am finally back from Spain. It was certainly no holiday, but really hard work with very little sleep or spare time. I did not even get a chance to take pictures of my outfits, so you will have to see those another time. 


I did, though, manage to squeeze one shopping trip in and that was spend in Las Rozas Village a little outside Madrid. Las Rozas Village is an outlet "village" with different brand stores. These "villages" are found several places in Europe, for instance near London and Barcelona. They had a lot of cute things, but I only ended up with shoes. Typically me ;-)

Those of you who have follow the blog for a while knows I have a weak spot for Sam Edelman's pretty shoes. I already own a pair of the ballerinas, but I have pined away for a pair of stillettos with stones and studs forever now. And I did stumble upon just those, a pair of "Lorissa" in my sizes. They are SO me! Girly and edgy...

OOTD - More snake print

Have you noticed the animal theme in my latest outfit posts? ;-)

Here is another hint of animal, from yesterday.

The snake print jeans is from Dorothy Perkins. Very cute, but must admit that the quality is not all that great. And the fit is quite large. I do find Dorothy Perkins' sizes a little off at times.

Get the look - Rock chick ballerina

Hi guys,

I would describe my style as "rock chick ballerina". Sometimes more ballerina than rock chick and sometimes more rock chick than ballerina, but I like to play with the mix of super feminine nude pieces and edgy, black rock'ish pieces.
