Jeans challenge day 5

Så det 5. og sidste outfit eksisterer desværre ikke i virkeligheden. Eller det ville det have gjort, hvis ikke jeg var ret sur på Dorothy Perkins i øjeblikket. Nu har jeg TO gange modtaget en jakke der lige så snart jeg iførte mig den, gik op i alle syningerne. "Du har da købt den aaaalt for lille!" Næh, det har jeg faktisk ikke. Og selvom jeg havde så burde den da kunne klare at man tog den på uden at syningerne gik op. Hvad gør de ellers når folk prøver at finde deres størrelse i butikkerne? Nåh, men kvaliteten er én ting, en anden ting er at de bare ikke svarer på mine mails! Jeg har to gange på de sidste 3 uger forsøgt at kontakte dem gennem deres hjemmeside for at arrangere noget tilbagebetaling af retur-porto, som man vel næppe skal betale når varen ikke er i orden. Men der er bare stilhed! Virkelig dårlig kundeservice, det hader jeg simpelthen!

Nåh, men tilbage til udfordringen, som altså ville have inkluderet en top fra DP, hvis jeg ikke boycottede dem indtil de gav mig en fair kundeservice behandling ;-) Jeg ville gerne vise jer et outfit med jeans til aftenbrug, men det må i så få uden mig i.

So the 5th and last jeans outfit does not exist in reality. It would have, if I was not really annoyed with Dorothy Perkins at the moment. I have twice now received a jacket that, as soon as I put it on, came undone at the seams. "You have bought it way to small!" No, I actually didn't. But even if I had, it should be able to survive that, otherwise I can't see how they expect people in the stores to find their size. Well, the quality is one thing, the other thing is that they are NOT answering my emails! I have tried to contact them through their website twice in the last 3 weeks to arrange re-imbursement for the return postage which I do not want to pay when the item is not ok. But they are not responding at all! Really poor customer service. I hate poor costumer service!

Well, enough rambling, back to the challenge, which would have featured me in a top from DP, had I not chosen to boycott them until they at least reply to my mails. I really wanted to give you an outfit with jeans for evening/going out. You will get it, but with out me wearing it.

Når man vælger jeans til aftenbrug, synes jeg godt man må gå all out med glitter og glimmer ;-) Man kunne også have valgt en top der var mere enkel og puttet en masse lækre smykker til. Et par lækre sko er et must og jeg har valgt mine fine nude/blush Pedro García mary janes. De er meget smukke, men ikke helt så nemme at gå i, så det bliver en taxi-aften ;-) Og så ville jeg vælge en spændende clutch, som kunne give en kontrast til det nude. Jeg undgår helst at mit look bliver for "prinsesse" og det ville blive lidt for sødt, hvis man valgte en nude clutch til også. Og så er jeg vildt fascineret af neon pt!

When chosing jeans for evening, you are allowed to go all out with glitz and glam ;-) You could have chosen a more simple top and styled it with a lot of great jewellry. A pair of fab shoes is a must and I have chosen my nude/blush Pedro García stilletto Mary Janes. They are so beautiful, but somewhat painful to wear, so this is going to be a taxi night ;-) I would choose an interesting clutch as a contrast to the nude/blush. I usually avoid my look being to princessy and I think it would get a little too sweet if you chose a nude clutch as well. And then I am so fascinated by all things neon at the moment!

Dette var enden på jeans udfordringen, selvom der er MANGE flere gode kombinationer man kan lave med jeans. Jeans er bare sådan et alsidigt beklædningsstykke. Næste uge, er vi tilbage til det "sædvanlige", men hvis der er andre tøjstykker du gerne vil se mig fokusere lidt ekstra på, så læg en kommentar og så er jeg klar på at tage udfordringen op :-)

So this was the end of the jeans challenge, even though there are LOTS of great combinations left. Jeans are such a versatile garment. Next week we are back to "normal", but if there are other items you would like me to pay special attention to, please leave a comment and I am ready take up the challenge :-)

Collections - Shoes

I thought, over the next couple of months, I would share some some of my "collections" with you.

When I was a kid I collected Barbie dolls, scented stationary, glossy pictures and even napkins at one point in time! Today I collect other beautiful things like clothes, shoes and accessories ;-) So, besides the shoes, you can look forward to a glimpse of my handbag collection, earring collection and my collection of leather jackets.

Of course I would like you to think that all of my shoes are stillettos and that I wear them anywhere and all the time ;-) But that is just not realistic... So here is a couple of my favorite "practical" shoes: 

Winter red suede ballerinas with grosgrain bows - Pretty Ballerinas (seriously if you do not own a pair of PBs, you need to buy them NOW, they are really pretty and VERY comfortable)

Ice pink flip flops with diamante stud - Havaianas
